Description

Made by one of the most famous of all rod makers, this nice 2/2 rod has serial number "E-8-9" and is all original. The snake guides closest to the ferrules on both tips are rusty, as is the upper snake guide on the butt section.The ferrules are tarnished and need cleaning to seat fully. There are no seams showing so this rod was made with animal hide glue. Garrison rods are seldom offered for sale, especially those in all-original condition. One of the most desirable collector's rods as well as a fine fishing instrument, this Everett Garrison built rod comes with its original bag and brass-capped tube.
