Description
SCHOFIELD "BALTIMORE ROSE" STERLING SILVER 50-PIECE FLATWARE SET, pattern design in 1905, all but six salad forks having decorated backs, comprising eight place/luncheon forks, eight salad forks, eight round gumbo soup spoons, eight 5 o'clock teaspoons, eight ice cream/dessert-type forks, a baby fork, a youth spoon, and eight hollow-handled place knives with stainless blades. Each with "STERLING" and maker's marks, except one knife with worn sterling mark. Total weight excluding eight knives: 56.76 ozt. Together with six salt spoons in the "Baltimore Rose" pattern, possibly being a recast/reproduction, each having faint "STERLING" mark, total weight of 1.040 ozt. 56 pieces total. Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including slight bending, nicks, one or a few dents, and/or worn spots to raised decoration.
