Description
ENGLISH COLUMNAR SILVER-PLATED CANDELABRA PAIR, each having four-piece construction with five-lights, four scrolling arms with foliate accents, center capital having an insert with a flame finial, each candlestick base in a form of a Corinthian column with a single capital, stepped base with two engraved heraldry-type motifs to top of one step. Each base impressed with "R.H / R.H" for Richard Hodd & Son of London in addition to "E P" in between two pseudo hallmarks. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. One 24" HOA with finial.Â

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, nicks, and denting, scattered worn spots/losses to silver; one candelabrum arm piece with moderate loss to silver to center.Â
