JAPANESE MEIJI / TAISHO-PERIOD IMARI PORCELAIN PLATES, LOT OF FOUR, each having scalloped rim and featuring underglaze blue designs with polychrome hand-painted decorations including cartouches depicting birds and flowers. Second half 19th/first quarter 20th century. 8 1/4" to 12 1/4" DOA.

Condition
One undamaged; one bird cartouche example having radial hairline to base; example with floral basket to center having a rim hairline and some glaze crazing; largest example having an approximately 8 1/2" L hairline.Â
