England, early 19th century. A fine set of six Royal Crown Derby Georgian era porcelain bowls from 1810-1820. Decorated with botanical green enamel work and rhythmic swirls of fiery orange.

Overall good condition. Loss to gilt and areas of enameling throughout the set. Some of the bowls are more shallow than others, but the designs are uniform. No chips or cracks. 1.5" H x 10.0" D.

Provenance: From the estate and lifelong collection of William Garrett Hodges (1946-2014). Hodges was a Virginia-based dealer of fine arts, with specialization in prints and rare books, having collected for decades. He supplied and consulted various groups on antiquities throughout his career, including the White House, the Vice President's residence, the FBI, and multiple film and television series.
