PAIR OF GRACIELA RODO BOULANGER (BOLIVIAN, B.1935) MODERN PRINTS, lithographs on paper, pencil signed and numbered "XXXV/C" lower right corner. Housed under glass in likely original frame. Circa 1970. 30" x 21" sight, 36 1/4" x 28" OA.
Catalogue Note: Born in La Paz, Graciela Rodo Boulanger (b.1935) pursued interests in both painting and music as a child but eventually turned exclusively to visual art in her early twenties when she went to study etching and printmaking with John Friedlaender in Paris. Known for her unique depictions of children and animals, Boulanger has gained significant recognition in her lifetime, and, in addition to producing work for both UNICEF and the United Nations, her work has been featured in over 200 exhibitions across the world.
