Visual: Overall good condition. Dust accumulation, dirt, occasional specks of grime, and minor darkening commensurate with age. Heavy craquelure throughout, some areas of unstable craquelure with specks of pigment loss, mostly near the lower edge. Frame abrasion along the upper and right edges, with attendant pea-sized or smaller areas of pigment loss. Scattered areas of the canvas slightly puckered. The canvas is slightly detached from the frame along the upper edge, at left. The canvas has been strip-lined.

Blacklight: Areas of touch-up throughout, mostly in the background. Difficult to read under very heavy and uneven varnish.
