Includes the original painting for "Sea Bird" depicting a folk art bird standing on a beach surrounded by shells and debris with a full color lithograph of the same depiction. Lee studied at Rockford College in Illinois before continuing her studied at the Kansas City Art Institute. In 1935, Lee won two mural commissions for the United States Postal service, going on to win the Carnegie Prize in 1944. Image area 12" x 17 3/4"
