Description

(Disney, 1940) An original production cel of Figaro, paired with an original production background from Disney's 1940 feature film, "Pinocchio." The cel of Figaro has been trimmed to image and applied to the trimmed background as prepared for sale by Courvoisier Galleries. The background appears at the 7:39 mark in the film. Figaro measures 3"x2.5" and the entire piece measures 10.25"x8.25". The artwork is in very good condition. Figaro shows some lifting in the paint but has all paint intact, he has lifted off the background and shifted down a bit. The cel can easily be reattached. The background has some light glue staining, but overall the piece presents very well.
