(Disney, 1940) Original production cels of Bambi, Faline, and blossoms from the "Twitterpated" sequence of Disney's 1940 feature film, "Bambi." The cels have been trimmed to image and were originally applied to an airbrushed background as prepared for sale by Courvoisier Galleries. At some point the cels were restored and attached to a newer cel for preservation, with remnants of the original paint still on the background. The image of the characters measures 7"x5.5". The entire piece measures 11.5"x11" and still retains the original hand-lettered Courvoisier Galleries Mat. The cels are in very good condition, with all paint intact, but some wrinkling along the edges of the cels. The mat has some staining along the outer edges and a small tear along the bottom.
