This strand of Tibetan trade beads consists of wound glass beads that date back to the 20th century. Despite some signs of age, such as small chips, pitting, and corrosion, the overall condition of the beads is good. The bead sizes range from 0.6-0.7" (inch) in diameter, with a total strand length of 24" (inch), including string or raffia. Although there are a couple of large pits and a few small chips, the beads are still a beautiful and unique example of the antique jewelry. It is important to note that this strand is not intended to be a ready-to-wear necklace, as the raffia holding it together is not durable and may break with use.
