Peter Plamondon is a contemporary artist known for his vibrant and abstract paintings that explore color, light, and form. He was born in 1944 in Washington D.C., and studied at the Corcoran School of Art in the 1960s. After completing his studies, Plamondon began to focus on painting, drawing inspiration from the work of artists such as Paul Klee, Mark Rothko, and Willem de Kooning. Over time, his style evolved into a unique blend of abstract expressionism and geometric abstraction, characterized by bold colors, dynamic compositions, and gestural brushwork. Plamondon has exhibited his work extensively in galleries and museums throughout the United States, and his paintings are held in the collections of numerous private collectors and institutions.
