DESCRIPTION: Antique hexagonal famille rose porcelain planter featuring court scenes on its broad sides populated by courtiers, warriors, mandarins, and sovereigns, and images on its short sides depicting birds among flowering branches and scholarly items. Piece is embellished around its lip with gilt accents and floral, foliage, and fruit motifs and is finished with four curving feet. Includes matching base marked at well center with seal script claiming Qianlong period origin.
