Description
Two woodblock Ukiyo-e prints from Hiroshige's iconic series of prints, One Hundred Views of Edo. Includes #4 "Tsukudajima and Eitai Bridge" (Eitaibashi Tsukudajima) Strong lines, prussian blues, solid colors, pinholes present in margins. 36x25cm. Also includes #109 "Minami Shinagawa and Samezu Coast" (Minami Shinagawa Samezu kaigan). Seascape depicting fishermen gathering seaweed. From the collection of a midcentury Asian arts dealer. Prussian blue, faded reds, some staining. Framed, plate measures 23x34cm.
