Description

Louisiana Carved Cypress Bench, early 20th c., the scalloped back over turned spindles and a plank seat flanked by curved arms, on turned tapered legs joined by cylindrical stretchers, H.- 34 1/2 in., W.- 69 3/4 in., D.- 23 in.

Condition

Condition is consistent with age and use. There is minor loss to stain on seat and backrest. Cracks in wood visible. The backrest is slightly wobbly but the seat is stable. The arm rests are stable and it seems that the right armrest has been replaced. Handsome example. ____________________________________________________________________ ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
