Description
The shield-form plaque is embellished with ribbons and clover-like projections around the outer edge while the center is a cluster of four mabe' pearls centered by a small Persian turquoise cabochon within a flower head. The textured ground of the front is highlighted by black enamel foliates, the back side is marked 14k. Circa 1880.
Measures 2 x 1.5 inches including the necklace bail, weighs 11.4 grams.
