Description
Donald Gahr (American, b. 1940). Two large wall mounted carved wooden birds. Oil painted and with attached wooden wings that extend upwards. Gahr was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and lived for three decades there before settling in Wisconsin.
Provenance: Distinguished corporate collection, Minnesota.

Condition
Small chips and losses throughout. There are small cracks throughout each as expected with age of the wood. Dust collected along each sculpture. One of the bird's legs has a significant crack throughout. One of the legs of the birds has detached completely.
