The complete Nonesuch Dickens. The Nonesuch Press, London, 1937 - 1939, 24 volumes with book form case "Plates" volume, all volumes slipcased. The "Plates" volume contains the original woodblock from "Miss Riderhood At Home" (from "Our Mutual Friend"), and is numbered 836 (of an edition of 877). This plate is accompanied by a signed letter on Chapman & Hall letterhead signed by Arthur Waugh (the Deputy Chairman of Chapman & Hall). The set containing : Reprinted Pieces, Collected Papers 1, Collected Papers 2, Letters 1, Letters 2, Letters 3, Dombey & Son, Little Dorrit, Great Expectations / Hard Times, Sketches by Boz, Our Mutual Friend (split to slipcase top left), Barnaby Rudge (spine soiled), Nicholas Nickleby (title in ink on rear of slipcase), American Notes Etc., David Copperfield (left top corner slipcase dented), Old Curiosity Shop, Edwin Drood & Christmas Stories (slight paint residue on slipcase), Pickwick Papers, Martin Chuzzlewit, A Tale of Two Cities, Oliver Twist, Christmas Books, Bleak House and "Plate".
