Description
Scottish Claymore sword, famous for it's brutal history during 16th century in the hands of Scottish mercenaries in Ireland. Few surviving examples of the sword remain although easily still one of the most recognizable medieval weapons in existence with long two handed handle wide tapered pommel to prevent slipping of the hand, long downturned quillion pierced with 4 holes, and double edged blade. Size overall 49" L, blade 24 1/4" L
