Description

A Very Rare Signed Drum Microscope, by Pierre Ambroise Richebourg.Paris, France, Circa 1845.Signed to the back of the shaped limb "Richebourg Ã Paris". This field microscope is optically complete, and comes with its original forceps, and pikes, as well as two eyepieces, in its original mahogany case with lock and key. These smaller microscope were designed for botanists and other scientists to bring with them into the field, and can be screwed into the lid of the wooden case for stability.
