Description
Dissecting Microscope in Case, by E. Leitz, Wetzlar. Germany, circa 1920. The cylindrical copper alloy pillar stands on a black enamelled steel foot. A plane mirror backed by a white glass disc in a horseshoe mount is set at the lower end of the pillar. The rectangular stage has a glass plate and two spring clips. Two milled knobs at the rear of the pillar rack a triangular sectioned bar up from within the pillar. An arm with a split ring at the end is screwed to the top of the bar.
Condition
Wear and scratches, consistent with age.
