TWO MING DYNASTY STYLE JADE WATER BUFFALO, PROBABLY QING DYNASTY, the mottled celadon green nephrite jade, carved with naturalism, is a recumbent ox with swept back horns, a spiraling auspicious urna centers large almond-form eyes over flared nostrils, the seated bovine with wrinkles on his back and ridged back bone rests on folded legs with hairy cloven hooves and the tail curled to the left flank, raised on custom wood stands.
