Chinese Ming Dynasty Doucai Tianzi Porcelain Pot. Potted with a large cylinder vessel, jar shape, having thick and tall potted body, sturdily potted in slight ovoid belly, heavy on shoulder gently tapered on short neck, toward opening mouth prominent, with flat dome lid and raised on flat wide round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white color which contrast against doucai design color depicted of ripe fruit with dense foliage flowers bloom and scrolling tendril. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a single Tian under glazed blue script characters reign mark.
