Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color depicted of abundant ripe pomegranate tree with fresh foliage, sturdy branch and flowers bloom. Pomegranate is known as the fruit of happiness for its red color and is a symbol of plentiful offspring for its many seeds, as well as good luck for one's descendants. The Daoist attribute to it the same power as the peach of immortality.

The Upper-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
