Cai Wenzhi born in Huanggang County, Hubei Province (Xinzhou District, Wuhan City). Graduated from the ninth period of the Whampoa Military Academy and the thirteenth period of the Army University. Lieutenant General of the National Revolutionary Army.

ARTIST BIO:

Li Qiujun 李秋君 (1899 - 1973), surnamed Zuyun, courtesy name Qiujun, used characters, and was named Ouxiang Pavilion, and he was not assigned as the owner of Ouxiang Pavilion. The Li family in Xiaogang Port, Zhenhai, Zhejiang (now Beilun District, Ningbo City). Shanghai Municipal People's Representative, Painter of Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy, Member of China Artists Association, Member of China Democratic League.
At the beginning, he studied calligraphy and painting with his elder brother, and later studied under the female painter Wu Shujuan. Because his brother and Zhang Daqian were close friends, he got acquainted with him, got Zhang's advice, and greatly improved his painting skills. After 1927, together with Zhang Chenbo, Jiang Xiaoyao, Pan Yuliang and others, he founded an art garden in Shanghai. In 1929, he joined the Bee Painting Society and later served as a director of the Chinese Painting Society. In 1933, he served as the director of the Shanghai Hechuang Chinese Women's Painting and Calligraphy Association. In 1937, he worked with He Xiangning to support the Anti-Japanese War. In 1962, he was elected as the Shanghai Municipal People's Representative. She was unmarried all her life and kept Danqing as her companion.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural imperfection on the medium (paper or silk), regardless from any major damages; includes light blooms, discoloration and minor fading. Consider normal due to the ages. Frame with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. Normal, consider ages and wear.
