Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Blue & white Taotie Mask motif Porcelain Vase. Potted in a amphora vase shaped, globular mid body, long tapered neck with flaring opening mouth lip, flanked archaic shaped on the neck to shoulder, raised with splayed concave footed base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of repeating taotie mask, auspicious pattern, wanzi motief and circle of Ruyi patterns surround the outer surface of the mouth. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
