Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Sky Blue Glazed Porcelain Vase. The porcelain potted in shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, emerging three u shaped flanked on the shoulder with straight cylindrical neck, flaring round mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Warm and uniform sky blue glaze applied to the whole surface, only the upper mouth rim and outer bottom is white glazed. Blue is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. Blue stands for healing, trust and long life. Shades of blue are used to decorate homes for longevity and harmony.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
