Description
The fine quality iron casting of a horse with open mouth, bridle, and flowing mane is from the estate of long-time Kansas City dealer and passionate collector Loyd Davis. His notes suggest a connection to the Parker Carousel Company of Leavenworth and Abilene, KS. Nothing about this connection has been confirmed, The Parker company did also manufacture band organs, shooting galleries, Ferris wheels and many other related amusement park items from the 1890s to the 1950s.
