Description
In 1961, the United States treasury released 1,000 bags of uncirculated morgan silver dollars. These morgans were originally struck with the intention of being used all throughout the United States, including the Wild West. These are the days when you'd have a few of these in your saddle bags or in your pocket while you were riding your horse to conduct business. Most Americans wore a hat during these times. I wonder how many morgan dollars would fit into a cowboy hat at the end of a successful poker game. Our consigner sent a bunch of these to NGC and asked them not to put the numerical grade on the coins unless the coin was proof like, or had attractive rainbow toning. Most of these would, in my opinion, grade MS63 or higher. Winner shall receive (1) box (20-coins) precisely resembling the ones shown here.
