This very unique coffee table is actually a work of art from the artists at Based Upon in London. The coffee table is made of Tramazite and Aluminium with a "cracked" effect. Lucite legs. Underneath the Based Upon signature emblem is present. Based Upon was launched in 2004 by twin brothers Ian and Richard Abell. They drew their inspiration from elemental forms of nature, focusing initially on designing surfaces with a lightweight metallic skin: the appearance of solid metal, but light enough to be used as a versatile material in interiors.
