Lot 3 Greek Geometric Spectacle Fibula, Circa 1st Millennium Century B.C. Each of flattened wire form of a continuous coiled spirals with double twist spirals at center, pin and catch plate also ingenuously incorporated into the design (missing?). Crystallized green patina. . Size 1 3/4 - 1 1/4 inches Lengths. Provenance: German private collection, acquired in the 1970s-1980s Compare with near identical examples in Greek, Etruscan, and Roman Bronzes in the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, by M Comstock & C Vermeule, MFA 1971, nos. 267 & 268.
