Group of (4) American stoneware vessels, New England and New York, 19th century, to include: Massachusetts salt-glazed ovoid 3-gallon jar, probably Frederick Carpenter, stamped ''Charlestown'' and decorated with three coggled hearts, having loop handles and tooled foot, (chips); Connecticut 2-gallon butter crock, S.B. Bosworth, Hartford, with foliate cobalt decoration, tooled shoulder, and lug handles, impressed maker's mark, (hairlines); and (2) jugs, comprising a New York Stoneware Co. salt-glazed 2-gallon jug with foliate cobalt and tooled decorations, impressed maker and gallon mark, (chips, paint accretion), and New York glazed stoneware jug, Ottman Bro's, Fort Edward, N.Y., with floral cobalt decoration and tooling, impressed maker's mark, (minor chip, hairline).
