Baseball signed "Reggie Jackson" in blue ink on the sweet spot of an official Rawlings Allen H. "Bud" Selig era Major League baseball. Jackson has inscribed each panel of the ball with "5 time World Series Champion", "Mr. October", "14x All Star", and "563 Home Runs." Slightly toned and scuffed, else fine and boldly signed with a PSA hologram on the baseball.
Reggie Jackson, also known as "Mr. October," is a former professional baseball player who was born on May 18, 1946, in Wyncote, Pennsylvania, USA. He played in the MLB for 21 seasons primarily as a right fielder and designated hitter.
Jackson is best known for his outstanding performances in the postseason games, earning him the nickname "Mr. October." He won five World Series championships, including two with the Oakland Athletics in 1972 and 1973, and three with the New York Yankees in 1977, 1978, and 1981. Jackson was named the World Series Most Valuable Player twice in his career, in 1973 and 1977.
Throughout his career, Jackson was a 14-time All-Star and won the American League Most Valuable Player award in 1973. He retired with a batting average of .262, 563 home runs, and 1,702 runs batted in (RBI).
