A Boker A-F 5 fixed blade knife designed by William "Bill" Harsey (Oregon) in a style evoking the legendary Applegate Fairbairn fighting knife designed circa 1941 by Colonel Rex Applegate (1914-1998) and William E. Fairbairn (1885-1960), as a version of the Fairbairn Sykes fighting knife. Model A-F 5. Two edged blade in blasted 440C high performance steel stamped BOKER SOLINGEN GERMANY 440C STAINLESS WILLIAM W. HARSEY MAKER CRESWELL OREGON and having impressed signatures of Fairbairn and Applegate. Camouflage style Micarta handle ending in metal impact cap (or "skull crusher") to tip. Accompanied by black nylon sheath with cylindrical sharpening stone and serrated cutting blade to front flap pocket. Blade measures 5.75" x 1.25".
