Vintage Large Shell Necklace, Black Beads, 25". This has a verry puffy domed shell pendant that is appx. 3" by 3.25". It is appx. 20.5mm thick. It has beautiful rainbow Iridescence througout with a black and white center at the top. This is a unique piece and one I havent' seen before. The back of the shell is covered and has brass mounts with silver tone beaded connectors and gold tone beads. The black beads appear to be wood - there are rounded beads that are appx. 10mm round and the flat disc beads toward the bottom that range from 9.5mm to 19mm with angled mother-of-pearl beads. It has a filigree style box clasp. It is not marked or signed. Very good condition other than a little dust/residue to some of the round black beads likely from hair spray or perfume - I was able to brush much of it off. The pendant and lower beads are very good and clean. Age is estimated at 1980's. It is not signed or marked. (W121722.1X6 SS9449 J LD 1/30/23).
