(10) Page period working hand-typed speech "Some Elements of American Character" by J.F.K. and presented on July 4th at Faneuil Hall. Together with a saddle-bound printed edition published by the City of Boston in 1946. At the time J.F.K. was a candidate for Congress from the 11th Congressional District. A rare photo-mechanical image with J.F.K. delivering the speech with John F. 'Honey Fitz' Fitzgerald and Mayor James Michael Curley seated behind him accompanies this lot. Condition: Toning, Magazine image mounted to paper-card support.
