All three of rectangular form with concave sides, the first by John Linnit & William Atkinson, London, 1814, the lid engraved with a coronet and cypher, the interior engraved 'Viscountess Castlereagh, Londonderry House', 7.6cm wide, the second by Charles Rawlings & William Summers, London, 1837, with foliate thumbpiece, the interior engraved 'Presented by Mr John Sothern to W.I. Meacock, as a testimony of past services, 7.8cm wide,, the third by Thomas Radcliffe, London, 1816, 7.2cm wide, weight 12oz. (3)

The first is fairly worn all over with the result that a patch of the engine turning on the base has worn away.
