Description
First Half 19th Century Mahogany Sideboard with Flamed Mahogany Doors. Case is tendon jointed into back of case with 14 tendons. Secondary wood pine (1) Large center drawer. (2) Liquor drawers with dividers, interiors measure 11 1/2" high. (2) Lower center doors with interior shelf compartment. (2) End compartments with shelves. (2) Small utensil drawers. Measures 43 3/4" high X 71 7/8" wide X 23 3/4" deep. Provenance: Waverly Mansion Circa 1852, West Point, Mississippi Collection, Charlie and Dana Stephenson. Condition- Sideboard has old repairs, some separation of lower interior case boards, some veneer cracks, and minor damage. Pull and keyhole escutcheons have been replaced. Front leg has an old repair, (glued at angle). Top has finish stains and discolorations. See photos.
