RARE 5X7 Vintage sepia original photograph of Pietro Badoglio holding a cane signed in blue fountain pen ink, "Pietro Badoglio 25-VIII-50." Creasing to the upper right and left corners and a crease down the left edge, otherwise terrific.(1871-1956) Pietro Badoglio, 1st Duke of Addis Abeba, 1st Marquess of Sabotino, was an Italian general during both World Wars and the first viceroy of Italian East Africa. With the fall of the Fascist regime in Italy, he became Prime Minister of Italy.This lot came from the Jim Wiggins collection we purchased in July 2022.
