Elena Yanchak (1918 Stakhanov, Ukraine - 2006 Odessa) was a well-known Ukrainian female artist who studied at the Grekov Odessa Art School and the Ilya Repin Leningrad Institute in the workshop of the noted Soviet-Russian artist Boris Ioganson. She was a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. She worked in a realistic manner in the genre of landscape and portrait painting, painted still lifes in her characteristic painting technique of impressionistic influence. The artist's works are presented in public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad, and are in constant demand on the Art Market. The artist lived and worked in the city of Odessa on the Black Sea.
