Charles Gwathmey and Robert Siegel for Swid Powell. "Tuxedo" partial dinner service. Porcelain, 1985. 97 pieces. Collection of Swid Powell "Tuxedo" china designed by Charles Gwathmey and Robert Siegel. White ground with black geometrics. Set consists of: twenty-four luncheon plates, twelve bread and butter plates, twelve flat cups, twelve saucers, eight mugs, one creamer, one lidded sugar, fourteen dinner plates, twelve rim soup bowls, and one 14" platter. Ninety-seven pieces total. Marked on underside, "Swid Powell" with signature of Gwathmey and Siegel and "Tuxedo".
