Native American, Southeastern or Midwestern United States, Mississippian, ca. 900 to 1543 CE. A sizable grayware pottery jar of spherical form with thick walls and a squat neck. The smooth exterior is enveloped in a gray brown hue that complements the vessel's minimalist form. Size: 7.8" Diameter x 7.4" H (19.8 cm x 18.8 cm)
