Replated railroad dining car crumb tray and scraper set circa 1910-1920 engraved with CPR in script and tray is bottom stamped Elkington A.T. Wiley Co. Montreal 24572. Crumb tray measures 9 7/8" x 7 3/4" and scraper measures 12 3/4" x 3". Both show general signs of use with scratches, minor nicks along the edge, and tarnish. See photos for best description.The purchaser of this lot will be only the second owner beyond the Canadian Pacific Railway. These items were purchased by the family of the consignor directly through their CP Bygones vault auction in 1977. They were the first and until now only private owners of these items. These items have not been passed from collector to collector, and this is the first time they will have changed hands in forty six years.
