A fine World War II era blue wool U.S. Navy uniform for a little boy, including tunic and trousers. The trousers have six black buttons at front, each depicting an anchor. The left arm features a sewn-on patch depicting embroidered bird on a perch above a ship’s wheel and three white chevrons, indicating rank of Quartermaster. As is standard with Navy dress uniforms, the tunic bears white piping at the cuffs and along the border of the back flap. No maker marks. The uniform is a bit faded, and the trousers show light fraying at the bottom, else very good.
