Pair of items recovered by a Dutch collector and 'digger' in Normandy in the 1980s, includes a 'barn find' M42 cap with insignia, badly moth eaten and worn, along with a dug pair of German hobnailed boots, relatively intact. These relics and other pieces from the collector's holdings have toured Europe for decades. With a copy of a flyer used by the collector to advertise a show of his relics in 1981, and they toured again in 1987.
