Description
(1913 - 1994) Thirty-seventh President of the United States who led during the Vietnam War, re-opened diplomatic ties with China and the U.S.S.R., resigned his office due to the Watergate scandal. Signed program, 4pp. 8vo., Washington, Jan. 8, 1954, a dinner menu for a Father and Daughter Night held by the National Press Club. Nixon signs twice, once at the bottom of the third page in pencil, and once on the verso in blue ink. Accompanied by twenty-two additional signatures from celebrities and notable newsmen, including: ED SULLIVAN, TED KOOP, ROBERT J. DONOVAN, JOHN SHERWOOD, ANNIE SACHS, and more. Lightly crinkled and two minor stained areas at the bottom of the cover, else very good.
