A great group of 10 original vintage comic strip artworks, each hand-inked by creator. Includes: HAL FORREST, four panels from a 1941 strip, 26 in. x 8 in., signed within the panel and additionally signed and inscribed at top in grease pencil , and second five-panel strip from 1945, 23 in. x 7 in. signed in panel; ED DODD, a comic from 1940 measuring 11 in. x 12 in. titled ‘The First Years are Always the Hardest’; BILL CONSULMAN and CHARLIE PLUMB, a four-panel strip from ‘Ella Cinders’, 1938, 22 in. x 5 in., signed in panel; FRED HARMAN, a four-panel strip from 1940, measuring 25 in. x 6 in., not signed; DAVE GERARD, a comic from 1940 14 in. x 15 in., signed in the panel and additionally signed and inscribed at blank margin; DARELL MCCLURE, a comic from 1948 titled ‘The Guest Afloat’ and measuring 6 in. x 6 in., signed in panel; HENRY BOLTINOFF, cartoon dated 1939, 12 in. x 13 in., signed in panel; FRANK MILLER, four panels from 1939, 21 in. x 5 in., signed in panel; BEAUMONT FAIRBANK, three panels from ‘Railroad Red’ dated 1941, 29 in. x 7 in, signed in panel and additionally at top.
