A deed on vellum dated 1793 by the RARE Henry Lee father of Robert E Lee he was the man who gave George Washingtons eulogy in the American Revolution he earned the nickname LIGHTHORSE Harry for his horsemanship. He was delegate to the CONGRESS of the Confederation from 1786-1788 and Virginia Assembly until 1791 Governor of VA until 1794 while this deed was signed ! He was used by Washington to squelch the famed WHisky Rebellion and became a Maj General in 1799 and in 1808 formed the VA militia for Jefferson in anticipation of war.
