4pp., folio, 10 x 16 in. Disbound (partial separation near top of central fold repaired with adhesive, chipping, tears, creasing, and some loss at edges, toning and occasional spotting).
The front page of the newspaper features the headline, "Sketch of the Political State of America," with a full column editorial signed in type by “Americanus,” the pen name for Alexander Hamilton. The issue also contains an inside page list of the first salaries for the senior members of the first US Government under the US Constitution.
