The rare nail cut block print in color published in an unstated edition (listed by some sources as being 100 prints) is signed by Birger Sandzen in pencil below the image lower left and titled lower right. This rare variant is printed in light sienna-colored ink on wove paper and the composition is listed as Greenough 38.
Image measures 4.5 x 6, sheet is 8.5 x 11, and frame is 13 x 14 inches.
Provenance: The estate of a Newton, Kansas collector and longtime supporter of the Carriage Factory Art Gallery in Newton, KS; the Birger Sandzen Gallery in Lindsborg, KS; the Beach Museum of Art at Kansas State University.

Very good to fine condition, exceptionally clean, the full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, no damage, stain, puncture or repair, noting one tiny point of foxing or paper impurity lower left corner; framed to archival standards in acid free mounts.
